1. Punjab Flood Relief – Khalsa Aid India

Kshema General Insurance extended support to Khalsa Aid India for their Punjab flood relief efforts. Khalsa Aid, known for its humanitarian work across India and abroad, initiated rehabilitation activities under the Murh Vaseba 2025 project in Gurdaspur district and other flood-affected areas.

Their phased plan, where Kshema’s contribution is being utilised, includes the distribution of ration and essentials, cleaning of homes and farmland, and direct support to farmers through diesel and tools for land restoration. They have also committed to rebuilding damaged riverbanks.

This initiative reflects Kshema’s commitment to standing with farmers and rural communities during times of crisis.

1. Supporting Specially Challenged Children – Vegesna Foundation

At Kshema, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their abilities. Through our partnership with the Vegesna Foundation, we provided funding for classroom equipment tailored to the needs of specially challenged children.

This initiative is close to our hearts, as it directly supports inclusive education and empowers children with disabilities to learn and grow in a nurturing environment. By enhancing their learning spaces, we aim to foster confidence and independence among these young minds.

This effort reflects our commitment to building a more equitable society. We’re proud to contribute to a future where every child has the tools they need to succeed.

We extended our support to the Vamsee Cultural and Educational Trust by funding the renovation of two buildings that serve as vital community hubs. These spaces are home to underprivileged children, senior citizens, and local artists, and our goal was to ensure they have safe, clean, and functional environments.

The transformation of these facilities has not only improved living conditions but also uplifted the morale of the residents. This project aligns with our objective of socio-economic development and community empowerment.

By investing in infrastructure, we’re investing in dignity, safety, and opportunity. It’s our way of giving back to the communities that inspire us.

Sustainability is a core pillar of our CSR vision, and we took a significant step forward by funding a 15 kW ON Grid Solar System at the Vamsee Cultural and Educational Trust. This initiative reduces the Trust’s dependency on conventional energy sources and lowers operational costs, allowing more resources to be directed toward community welfare. By embracing clean energy, we’re not only reducing our environmental footprint but also promoting long-term ecological balance. This project demonstrates our belief in creating sustainable solutions that benefit both people and the planet. We’re committed to being a responsible corporate citizen, and this is just one of many steps in that journey.
